The Lakeview Centre greatly appreciates your continuing commitment to support your Lakeview Centre. Your membership fees, because of our over 250 members, now support a significant portion of our annual budget. Additionally, attending our monthly breakfasts, participating in 50/50 draws and our summer raffle, which has sold out every year, and our other events, we now enjoy a stable financial position.Introducing Our Fall and Winter CampaignIn addition to these regular events many of our supporters have generously made cash donations. Last year we exceeded our $5,000 goal. Your Board of Directors was able to obtain over $30,000 in grant funding because you donated. Funders consider donations to be an important measure of community support, and they are!Please help us continue to upgrade your community centre.
This year we are looking at enhancing security measures with upgrades to our camera system. In addition we are upgrading the sound and lighting systems for the stage. This direct fundraising reduces the burden on Board Members and other key volunteers who do the bulk of the work on our regular fund raising activities.Donations can be made on line through and in person at our events with the cash machine, and even through your generous cheques, (remember them?) and of course cash.Donations over $20 are tax deductible, and will receive a charitable tax receipt, and if made before December 31, 2025 will help reduce your tax owing for the 2025 tax year.If donating by e-transfer, please include your full name, mailing address and email in the notes.You can follow our progress with the giant thermometer in the upper hall, and of course, on Facebook and our website.Your Lakeview Centre would not exist without your volunteer support and generous donations.
